Gabrielle Hasenstab is a classically trained muralist who transforms spaces into something you can't quite believe is painted. I spent a day with her in Summerville, South Carolina, documenting a large-scale mural commission inside a law firm. I shot portraits of her at work, and the mural coming to life, wall by wall. She paints exclusively with Ecos Paints, a non-toxic, zero-VOC paint line, because the way something is made matters as much as how it looks.
